De Lucchi (Ferrara,1951) belongs to the group of Italian designers with an international reputation. He was a motivating force behind 'Gruppo Cavart' in the Radical Design years, and one of the founders of 'Memphis', the group of designers whose ideas and designs influenced the design world in the eighties. In 1988 he set up the De Lucchi Studio, in which Nicholas Bewick, Daniel Danzi, Ferruccio Laviani, and Angelo Micheli, among others, are also involved.
