The Rolling Stones – Unzipped extended through 18 April

The Groninger Museum is extending The Rolling Stones – Unzipped through 18 April 2021. The museum is making every effort to keep the exhibition open as long as possible and admit as many visitors as it can. Because the exhibition moves to Marseilles in June, no further extensions will be possible.

Once it is known when the museum is allowed to reopen, the resumption of ticket sales will be announced. Details will be posted on the Groninger Museum’s website and social media channels and in its newsletter.

About The Rolling Stones – Unzipped
The exhibition features more than 400 original objects from the band’s personal archive. Along with instruments and stage designs, there are rare audio fragments and video footage, personal diaries, iconic costumes, posters, album covers and even a reconstruction of the band’s studio and modest flat in Edith Grove in London. Supplemented by unique film footage and interactive technology, the exhibition treats visitors to an extraordinarily comprehensive look at 50 years of the band’s history and the careers of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood. At the centre of it all is the musical legacy that lifted a group of 1960s blues musicians to the status of inspiring cultural icons.
