Tickets for Rolling Stones show at Groninger Museum now on sale
Advance ticket sales for The Rolling Stones – Unzipped, Delivered by DHL, have begun. Given the huge interest in the exhibition, not least among the band’s many fans, the museum has decided to start sales early. Tickets are available online at rollingstonesgroningen.nl.
Tickets for the first week of the exhibition (14–22 November) go on sale on 1 October at 10am. In line with national measures to limit the spread of Covid-19, only these time slots are currently available (until they sell out). As soon as new time slots become available we will communicate this on the websites rollingstonesgroningen.nl and groningermuseum.nl.
About the exhibition
Following stints in London, the United States and Asia, the exhibition will tour Europe in updated form, premiering in Groningen. The Rolling Stones – Unzipped features more than 400 original objects from the Stones’ collection. Along with instruments and stage designs, it includes rare audio fragments and video footage, personal diaries, iconic costumes, posters, album covers and even reconstructions of the band’s studio and their modest lodgings in London’s Edith Grove. Fans will be able to journey through the band’s unique legacy, ending with a special finale experience: an iconic Stones moment, delivered in multidimensional Dolby Atmos sound and facilitated by PMC (the Professional Monitor Company). There will also be a look back at the Rolling Stones in the Netherlands.
The Groninger Museum will also highlight the band’s links with Groningen and local talent. From 14 November, it will show work by the talented Groningen photographer Andy Zuidema (b. 1984). Seven large colour photographs of the Stones that Zuidema took at their 2017 concert in Arnhem will be on display.
The Rolling Stones – Unzipped, Delivered by DHL, runs from 14 November 2020 to 28 February 2021. Adult tickets cost €29. The museum's opening hours will be expanded from 10am to 10pm for the duration of the exhibition.
