On Friday 18 September, Groninger Museum opens a new chapter with four new exhibitions that place contemporary art at the centre of the institution while reconnecting with the radical, experimental spirit that has shaped the museum since the opening of its iconic postmodern building in 1994.
- The Architect & The Housewife: Cleaning the House, Building the Future;
- Playing House. Een kunstbiënnale met kinderen en jongeren;
- Nieuw licht 1: Ani Schulze – The Convent of Pleasure;
- Matthew Lutz-Kinoy & Natsuko Uchino: Keramikos Carrier Bag.
Samen onderzoeken deze tentoonstellingen hoe kunst ons helpt nieuwe manieren van leven en werken te bedenken, en hoe ze tegelijk nieuwe perspectieven bieden op de collectie, architectuur en geschiedenis van het museum.
