The Groninger Museum has converted a silver Airstream caravan into a mini museum. The caravan travels throughout the city and province of Groningen, introducing children and young people to art and culture.
Thanks to a contribution from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the museum is building a strong and sustainable relationship with children and young people in the city and province of Groningen. The aim is to introduce them to art, culture and heritage through inspiring and playful workshops. Museum educators bring the mini museum to as many locations as possible, including primary schools, secondary schools, cultural and community centres, events and festivals.
