Anniversary!
On Saturday 19 September 2026, the Groninger Museumnacht celebrates its tenth edition! Forum Groningen, GRID Grafisch Museum x Universiteitsmuseum Groningen, Groninger Museum, Museum aan de A at Academie Minerva, Noorderlicht in Niemeyer and Synagoge Groningen will keep their doors open until after midnight. During this anniversary edition, visitors can explore exhibitions and permanent displays while enjoying a vibrant programme of music, workshops, talks, dance, poetry and other performances.

During Groninger Museumnacht, one ticket gives you access to no fewer than 7 museums across 6 locations!
Early Bird: sold-out
Regular: €15.00
You swap your ticket for a wristband that grants access to all participating museums. You can do this on the night itself or in advance. Starting Thursday, 17 September, you can pick up your wristband beforehand at Forum Groningen, the University Museum Groningen, or Synagoge Groningen (during opening hours).

Tschumi Inside
Have you always wanted to go inside the Tschumi Pavilion? During this Museum Night, you can! Inside, you’ll find video works by five artists displayed in five ‘bubbles’: Susanna Inglada, Serge Onnen, Antonia Rehnen, Robbie Cornelissen and Fynn van der Ziel. Come and discover their work and step back outside with a tilted perspective on the world. // Location: Tschumi Pavilion, Hereplein. Time: 19.00-23.00. Powered by Kunstpunt.
Mini Art Walk
The city is hiding something, and we’re going to find out what it is! Join us on this interactive walk and discover the art between the Tschumi Pavilion and Forum in a surprising way. At every art stop there is a little happening, and you’ll hear the best stories. Come along! // Start: Tschumi Pavilion, Hereplein. End: Forum Groningen. Duration: approx. 30 minutes. Start times: 19.30, 20.30, 21.30, 22.30. Language: English.
Surprise at 10pm
To celebrate the 10th edition of the Groninger Museum Night, there will be a surprise act or activity at all participating museums at 10:00 PM. Be there!
Closing party
Wrap up the evening with us at the Groninger Museum! Groningen-based DJ and producer Bob Kliphuis effortlessly fills the dance floor with his warm, euphoric soundscapes. // 23:30–01:00, Entrance Hall, Groninger Museum
