FUCK OFF 2 contained works by 37 modern Chinese artists and artists collectives commenting on the societal, juridical, and political climate of China. The exhibition was a sequel to FUCK OFF, which was organised in Shanghai in 2000 and quickly fell prey to censorship because of its supposed radical content. Considering the narrow artistic freedom in China 13 years later, FUCK OFF 2 was undeniably relevant. Work from for example Ai Weiwei, Luo Yang, and Zhao Zhao was on display.
