New: Café Groninger Museum!
In November 2023 the MendiniRestaurant got a whole new look and a new name: the Museumcafé. The restyling is the work of the leading designer Maarten Baas. He developed a complete redesign and is inspired by the artist's living room. According to Baas, it feels 'eclectic, a bit crazy and with a mix of different styles'. In addition to the delicacies on the menu, you can now also enjoy works of art selected by Baas for this space, or of course the view over the water.

Situation
The MendiniRestaurant, right beside the Groninger Museum, very near the Groningen Central Train & Bus station. The MendiniRestaurant is also the place to discuss the Groninger Museum exhibition you just visited. It is a unique location for a coffee, lunch, or to have a drink in stylish surroundings.
With sunny weather the terrace of the MendiniRestaurant is one of the best in Groningen, situated on the route station - inner city.
