What happens when you place the next generation of hip hop artists inside a museum?
Together with Groninger Museum, Noordstaat is bringing the northern Dutch hip hop scene directly into the exhibition. During Hip Hop Is Now, eight producers will work from a studio booth inside the Hip Hop Is exhibition, creating new tracks inspired by the culture, the space, and each other.
They will invite artists and musicians for studio sessions, build new music live, and film music videos throughout the museum. Hip hop as it lives today.
Visitors are warmly invited to witness the creative process throughout the Hip Hop Is exhibition at Coop Himmelb(l)au.
