The Groningen Museum Night will have a third edition. On Saturday 7 September 2019, Groningen's museums will open their doors collectively again for this popular event.
Both the first and second editions of the Museum Night were completely sold out. The visitors mainly attended the Museum Night for the opportunity to see all museums in one night as well as to join the many festivities. This year, a lot of international visitors visited the Groningen Museum Night again: more than a quarter. The great majority of the Dutch visitors lives in the city of Groningen.
The Groningen Museum Night is a collaboration between the five participating museums and Marketing Groningen.
