Art Talk Daan Roosegaarde
Following an introduction by curator Sue-an van der Zijpp, Roosegaarde will talk about the background and production of his exhibition Presence. Places are limited, so register soon. Exhibition Daan Roosegaarde - Presence
Daan Roosegaarde’s first major museum-based solo project is a groundbreaking new interactive artwork developed specially for the Groninger Museum. Roosegaarde is known for Icoon Afsluitdijk and international projects like Waterlicht and Smog Free Tower. This work, an expansive, luminous landscape that changes colour and shape in the presence of visitors, represents the outdoor artist’s first exploration of interior space. Presence invites physical interaction: through touching, feeling and moving, visitors become aware of their own presence in a unique way. The exhibition will be on view from 22 June 2019 through 12 January 2020 at the Groninger Museum.
